ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT
Askari Universal School follows a balanced evaluation system focused on learning, understanding, activities and academic growth.
Pre-Primary learners will not have any pen and paper examinations. They will be evaluated through day-to-day learning experiences, interactions with surroundings and activities.
There will be four Unit Tests. Each Unit Test will be of 25 marks, including 20 marks written test and 5 marks for activity-based skill assessment.
Students will be assessed in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas. Scholastic assessment includes 20 marks Internal / Periodic Assessment and 80 marks Half Yearly / Annual Examination.
Periodic Test in First Semester along with Half-Yearly Examination in September.
Periodic Test in Second Semester with continuous academic evaluation.
Yearly / Annual Examination will be conducted.
Periodic Test syllabus will include chapters taught one week before the test. Half Yearly syllabus will be approximately 50% of the curriculum, i.e. Term-I syllabus. Annual Examination for Class I to V will include the entire syllabus of Term-II.
