Askari Universal School is a CBSE affiliated school with Affiliation No. 430554. The school is located on a huge 6-acre lush green campus on the National Highway at Kanodar, Palanpur. The school has registration and UDISE number, which means it is officially recognized by the education department.

Pre-Primary Section: Maximum 25 students per class.
Senior Section Class I to XII: Maximum 40 students per class.

Yes, the school has all the pre-requisites such as space, classroom size, activities, trained teachers, salaries, PF, lift and ramp, CWSN toilets, Computer Lab, Physics Lab, Biology Lab, Chemistry Lab, Maths Lab, Composite Lab and excellent infrastructure.

As the school is CBSE affiliated, all teachers are trained and qualified as per Government and CBSE norms. They are also proficient in English language, teaching-learning methodology and use of technology in education. The school looks for teachers who are enthusiastic, compassionate, patient with children and learners themselves.

ICSE is a national-level accredited board and traditionally focuses more on languages with a 60% subjective and 40% objective exam pattern. CBSE is also a national-level Indian Central Board providing quality education across India with a balanced approach of science and language input. CBSE books are prescribed by the Board, mainly NCERT books, and national-level competitive exams are based on the CBSE curriculum. CBSE focuses on overall development, regular evaluation and reduction of stress through continuous assessment. Both boards are globally accepted and recognized.

The school provides age-appropriate activities. Each day, two time slots are dedicated to activities where children engage in activities of their choice. Activities include Basketball, Football, Athletics, Theatre, Drama, Art and Craft, Gymnastics, Robotics, Yoga, Table Tennis, Badminton, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Cricket.

Teachers always speak in English as it is the medium of instruction. Initially, gestures are used to help students understand the language. The school ensures children remain comfortable while gradually grooming them towards better English communication.

Presently, the school is being taken care of by the Principal Mr. P. Anand Kumar. He is a seasoned educationist from South India with more than 15 years of experience in reputed schools. He has also worked as a Principal of a CBSE school.

The school transport has licensed drivers and female attendants. Surprise bus duties are also taken up by teachers. GPS-equipped buses can be tracked on a real-time basis.

Nursery: 3 years

The complete age of the child will be considered as of 31st March of that year.

Grade I-V: English, Hindi, Maths, EVS, Gujarati, Computer, Mental Maths, Logical Reasoning, Value Education and General Knowledge.

Grade VI-VIII: English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Science, Gujarati, Computer, Mental Maths, Logical Reasoning, Value Education and General Knowledge.

Grade IX-X: English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Science and PET Skill Subject.

The Pre-Primary curriculum is discussed in the Curriculum section, and the Primary section follows the curriculum set by NCERT.

Apart from the PTM conducted every month, the teacher may communicate with parents and arrange a meeting whenever required. Parents can also contact the teacher in the same manner.

Summer:
Pre-Primary: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Std. I to XII: 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Winter:
Pre-Primary: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Std. I to XII: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
